SO!

#1:
Maybe there should be some sort of multi-player in the game, I've been dreaming about this ever since the game was in my hands, possibly for 2-4 people, that would be incredibly fun, if so, you will need a larger escape pod, different character models (or concealed skins) and maybe even more enemies >:D

#2:
Possibility of Ship docking, or more land vehicles... Maybe a tank/car for underwater would be cool, I don't think they would work however, might be interesting to see how it plays though...

Aviation!?
Maybe (possibly) flying things, guns, harpoon guns, or more so we can shoot down flying birds/other creatures in the sky, and take their dna, study them, and maybe learn to FLY!
Using thrusters, wings, etc. maybe this could become a possibility! (Imagine it, flying bases, cars, etc. we obviously have the tech.) or even have a glider!

#4:
Armor/New customization options
There could be new ways to customize your character, change their color, hair, skin color, race, etc. or maybe even wear animal/bird/fish skins!

#5:
New ground vehicles/ground ANIMALS
Have larger land masses (huge land masses) and have the possibility of a tank (as above) or even a car! Possibility of wolf packs, (things like that), carnivores, herbivores, etc.!

#6:
Style >:D
New entrances to the game, possibly escape pods (That slam down from the air) or more animations/cinematics in the beginning of the game, (basically an intro)

#7:
Maybe some progress/story driven things, such as what you're trying to do, and why you're trying to do it. Maybe even a final/end cutscene!

#8:
Some new deployables
I've had some pretty good ideas for deployables, but because I'm terrible with art, I don't have any art for them, sadly
BUT here are some ideas!

1: A deployable mini-base (packable & foldable)

2: Flags/cosmetics, maybe holo flags or emblems for underwater/submarines? Or have a hue color changer for the Cyclops

3: Portable oxygen generators (like the purple brain coral)

4: Maybe cloning machines (portable respawn points)

5: Portable escape pods (fold your escape pod up >:D)

Drones
What about drones, seeking you out, helping you, and assisting you with whatever you need
(Like you saw in the cave thing picture) they could offer medical assistance, combat assistance, or more! Maybe repairs, cooking, crafting, or oxygen :D
Maybe even make them pilotable but cheap, and easy to make!

NEW SEAMOTH MODES!! WOOH
The Seamoth could have new modes including:

Basic mode, or in other words the basic seamoth

Aviation, propellors take up lots of energy, though,

A small ball (Such as the one from Jurassic World, just with the seamoth forming a ring around it), this will have medium speed and quick turning, but wait until you see the next one!

Disc mode! This mode is just like the other one, just sideways! So the ring around the Seamoth would form ALL the way around and then form a disc on it's side, but then the ring would rotate and it would form a ball with a vertical disc! The disc would be SUPER fast but would be very slow at turning,

Small fort mode! This would enclose you into a small positon, would have to be withing 10 meters of the terrain, the disc would then form a small tripod and then it would touch down, the glass would open and act as a small place you could use to breath, or you could use it as a defensive mechanism, or sonar!

Sentry guns!?
Well, since Subnautica is placed in the future at an unspecified time frame, maybe we could have sentry guns/automated harpoon guns in the water! This would go along with the Drones idea, maybe more...

Weather!
Weather wouldn't affect the game too much, but it'd still kind of give you that feel of; oh, there's a storm coming! I should get in my base, or OH MAH GOD THERE'S A TORNADER!!!

Bigger landmasses!
I know Subnautica is mostly about water and stuff, but that's no excuse to explore the land! After all, this planet can't be entirely made of water!

Things that would harm the Cyclops
I know that the Sea Emperor is joining the code & fish, but there should be something that could harm the cyclops/target it, then you would rush over to the console (To the right of the steering wheel) and that would unfold the weapons/project an EAR shattering high pitch supersonic scream that would make the monster swim away,



Whelp, that's it except for maybe a dockable cyclops area or more vehicle ideas,

Maybe a new parasite creature/decomposer >:D

    Multiplayer is a possibility :) Probably coop :)

    IDK about more vehicles-- so far the devs I think said they'd prefer to flesh out cyclops/seamoth/seaglide as much as possible

    Well flying makes no sense... sorry :P it's called subnautica for a reason-- I think we might see birds but flight just makes no sense here

    The armor /customization I'm not sure about

    Almost certainly no to the island with all that stuff in there you realize that's like making 2 games in 1?

    Agree, and yes, a new main menu is probable :pensive:

    Story is a possibility (like a grand mission) though I"m not sure... devs did talk about it though at some point

    Deployable minibase... not sure why :P The cyclops is basically the same thing lol

    You CAN change the color of the cyclops in experimental mode :P

    For the other 3 deployables, meh ... need some more POINT to them imo

    Good drone idea :D

    All those seamoth ideas are technicaly planned, but just not as extravagantly I don't think they're going to implement so many animations for 1 vehicle :P It'll just be a flat passive armor bonus or speed bonus :D

    I really hope for weather too :D

    Again, probably no more landmasses unless the devs have a change of heart

    I REALLY hope for something to harm the cyclops... mainly because it doesn't quite feel all that badass to me yet. feels more like your "starter" deep-sea sub than an actual CYCLOPS :P

    I think there will be a place for the cyclops to dock and HOPEFULLY <3 recharge its batteries lo

    Yeah, heh, but you don't need the Experimental mode for the hue color changer, I just copied and pasted my old post, edited it a bit, and felt too lazy to remove that, lol and what I meant by a new 'entrance/intro' is by making a small cutscene for the beginning, and also, you can hear wildlife on the Floater Island, so why not have a large land-mass? It'd make a ENTIRE new experience! But I do catch your drift, and the aviation is just more for like.. Extra space or maybe just for some cooler things, and I guess the Seamoth propellers don't really make sense either, I just wrote this and let my creativity go wild, and also, I'll link you a picture for the drone in the 'Cave thing' picture, unless you look that up on the Wiki, but there's also going to be an Exo-suit added to the game, a mech style thing, it's gonna be pretty awesome :D and that's why i'm wondering if the Seamoth could have a ground mode, while it doesn't make sense for it to go to the magma vents, it definately would be cool for it to, well, go on a 'Track' or just stay close to the ground to see what you can find instead of having the risk of hearing 'THUUUUUUDDDDDD' every 2 minutes, and the 'Stationary mode' would be used to have a small orb so you can look around and maybe, (just maybe) slowly recharge it! What I was thinking more of, was a small place in which you could just leave your Seamoth there and not be too scared about a Reaper-Leviathan coming over and yanking it away from your grasps maybe even use it for a small place where you could make a small underwater track for a train to get to places SUPER fast!, and the glider is so you can fall down to the water and maybe get some nice air to look around, not much to see, but it could prevent fall damage from the island, or damage from hitting the water too hard, there could be special materials you need to get on the land to get the Exosuit, or more, not sure, but right now we don't have much info from the devs, if you know a lot of info coming in from the devs then could you please tell me a link or something : D

    The island is already a part of the game, just head SW from your starting point, you should reach there in no time, if you want to see it as fast as possible, go to F3, disable console, and type; Biome Islands, there the ambiance is birds, and some other things, you should definitely check it out!

    The point is exactly that: they CUT all the fleshing out of the island area :P it's not that I didn't know about the island, I do, it's that there was a plan to put in all those things you said, but apparently last I checked they won't be adding anything else to it

    Did you check all of the dev things? Make sure that there will be no land/air animals/birds at ALL? Also, I forgot to mention this, have you seen Captain America, Winter soldier? The giant aircraft carriers with thrusters, kind of shaking, not too professional, giving you that feel that it's not too stable is the sort of feel I wanted with the aviated bases

    Besides, there's always room for expansions that way, and as long as they're full with content I'd support SN happily post launch :)

    Well, I mean.. Some people... (Totally not me wth u talking about) are terrified of the deep darkness of this game, if things start to get a little dark, I panic the hell out! Lol
    Know how to fix this 'phobia'?

    Maybe the openable part could be the opening glass! It unfolds when not in use and hopefully charges! And as for the deployable base, it would be smaller than the Cyclops, due to the Cyclops being 90% decor and extra space, this would be a small little base, similar to that of an escape pod, containing the essentials, a Fabricator, and Oxygen, this would take about 10 seconds to unfold and could be balanced in some ways!

    The Seamoth does actually have a hatch, on the top. You can see it open in the Moonpool animations for undocking. Of course, there is no way you could get in without the Seamoth flooding in the water.
