Hello Subnauts,
i like to share my idea and i hope you like it and it gets implemented in to the game.
Don't forget to leave a like on my thread (or a "awesome"), cause this will help to get noticed faster by the development team.
Thank you very much!
It's simple: Insteed of taking out every time the ressources out of the lockers, you can connect those lockers with the fabricator to create a pool.
My suggestion is to connect it with cables you can craft in the fabricator with a wiring kit or a
advanced wiring kit.
You can install and place the cables on the wall (or ground and ceiling), so that you have a visual connection too.
In the fabricator/crafting-hud you can see by a number how much ressources are left.

1: snap-to-locker/fabricator conveyor tubes, would require stricter placement of lockers/fab.
2: conveyor bulkhead behind lockers, would be placed like window/reinforcement panels, would enable transfer of materials between any device/s placed on this wall, would chain together with adjacent conveyor bulkheads.
3: Advanced fabricator with fab in center and 2 locker spaces, placed as bulkhead, can chain together with similar all-storage locker with 3 lockers on it, also placed as a bulkhead.
To my mind, a conveyor/advstorage/advfab bulkhead would be domed out on exterior surface, like the storage upgrades on the Seamoth (minus doors)
I go for conveyors/bulkheads, because the materials in these lockers take up physical space, and would take up space as they are being transferred, thus conveyors. Also, I think it would be easier on the coding devs to make discrete bulkhead pieces, as these already have strict placement rules, allowing for simple yes/no adjacency checking.
This isn't Minecraft, unless you mean the Workbench?
What does that even mean?
He means the room is the workbench, and that the blueprint fragment for it should be found.
I'd look for it even deeper than that though.
Ok how about the jellyshroom biome?
Something along those lines. What about the bloodkelp caves? Or is that too out of reach for something like this?
That depends, I'd say maybe if there was another fragment to be found there as well
Maybe in the front part that got blown off we'll find a terminal that we need to restore
I like that idea.
It would require lots of advanced tech, equipment to find it, and you'd have to download the data onto your PDA which will take time while we have Reapers and Sea Emperors trying to kill us
Im thinking 5x lubricant 3x titanium 2x advanced wiring kit and fabricator and workbench
That doesn't seem very Subnautica-esque
Aside from how Subnautica-esque it might be, should they make a mini-game for a small fragment of the game?
Seems a little overkill to me.
