Simple water source: solar stills

I have a simple suggestions for a more constant source of water for the player: solar stills. They'd probably would only require a bit of silicone and maybe one bladder-fish.
For those unfamiliar with what I'm talking about, solar stills are simple devices used to turn seawater into drinkable water in an emergency. It's simple really: you make a tent-like structure with transparent walls that's inflated like a balloon. You put seawater at the bottom that gets heated up by sunlight. The water inside evaporates and turns back into liquid that flows down on the walls of the tent into a separate container. That water is pure.
It would float atop the water like the escape pod (maybe tie it to the escape pod?) and the player could simply use it to drink or swap containers for later use. Possibilities of changing them and making them advanced would go from there, such as allowing to chain several together, having more complex versions that would pump water in automatically and replenishing their supply automatically, having ones tied to a base, etc.
