Connecting on Server not possible. Can't download modifications from steam.

I player NS2 long time ago. Todas i tryed to play again but i can't download any modification from steam. If i try to join an server, the game is not possible to download any. And if i try it by myself with the steam workshop (not into the game) it says, he is downloading. But than i should have an folder "workshop" under "appdata\roaming\naturalselection2". But nothing exist.

i don't think it is a problem with the firewall or whatever. I use other games via steam and i use the workshop too without any problem.

    Okay basically there are two troublesome things in your log:

    1. All connections to cloud-4.steamusercontent.com fail due to dns issues and therefor you can't download any mods. Try to connect to a server with a workshop backup server like dmd, the thirsty onos or my own server. Otherwise try to flush your dns cache ( via cmd and ipconfig /flushdns )
    2. Also I'm not totally sure if ns2 is handling your user name correctly. Try to create a new windows user (or rename your current user account) using only ASCII chars for the name and see if that helps.

    TAW servers also have backup servers set, in case the servers Ghoul described are full. :)

    Are you by chance dutch? Some dutch ISPs are getting DDOSed on their DNS today.
