Aluminum Oxide and Mercury Ore. Am I missing something?

I was just wondering if I'm missing what these are supposed to be used for or if there just isn't anything to make with them yet. And if theres not anything to make with them, why even put them in the game? As it stands they're pretty much a waste of inventory space.

They are not used for anything yet. They are laying the ground work for things to come. Those will be needed eventually, but for now, dont bother with them until you see something in the fabricator or builder that needs them.

I believe they'll be needed for "Advanced Materials" like Nanomachines, son Nanowires and such.
