Hello again and thank you so much for the help on my previous post, turned out one of my 2 Gb RAM card malfunctioned and had to be replacednow im having a different issue. When i start the game everithing seems fine as it did before but this time it wont even strt the training sequence which it did even when it was limping a 2GB RAM short of the needed requierments. Now it just gets to the loading screen loads the map and all, but when it starts precharging it gets to about 20% and freezez somethimes the screen goes black somethimes it doesnt. Ive also realized it isnt using my graphix card as much as it should, when i start an application my PC automatticly reedirects the game as a priority so it has about 1400 Mb free all for its self and yet it only uses half of that. Sorry if i missed something obvious again. And thank you for all the past and future help.

    [404.280] MainThread : Error: File 'models/marine/male/male.model' failed consistency check!

    This is a popular error for those who are running in 32 bit mode or with low memory.
    Seeing as how you have a modern OS like Windows 7, why not use 64 bit Windows 7 instead? It would take advantage of all of your RAM that you've paid for.

    Until then, there's a workaround that may work for you when starting your own server (especially until next patch which may assist with loading and memory)
    But it takes a few steps:

    1. (ensure you can view hidden folders first) Go to your file explorer (win key + E) and go to C:/Users/YourNameHere/Appdata/Roaming/Natural Selection 2/
    2. Open ConsistencyConfig.json in a text editor like notepad.
    3. Replace the contents with this :
    {
     "ignore": [ "*.*" ]
    }

    4. Save the file and try playing

    All this is doing is bypassing consistency checking (our anti cheat tool besides VAC) when you specifically are hosting a server, hence why it works for training only.
    This may or may not work, but it's worth a try for this.
    Again, I recommend you install a 64 bit OS, there's almost no reason not to these days as you can even simulate running in 32 bit mode if you ever needed to.

    If you ever wanted to undo these changes you can just delete that file and it'll be automatically regenerated to default when you play again.

    Let me know how it goes
