This is something I think would be useful are both a module for the exosuit and seamoth but also the player. Simply put it's a combo of the diving reel and the beacon. What it does is allow you to fire a micro beacon which last for say 20 minutes or until you pick it up, and can only be seen when carrying the tool or in a vehicle that has the module.
Now when you can see the beacons you see a 3D lines connecting the one your closest to with the one placed before and after it, and a faint line going to the next set of beacons after those but no farther. (as roughly shown in the picture)![hXpxCiM.png](http://i.imgur.com/hXpxCiM.png)
This would be useful for exploring larger cave networks, unlike the small ones in the shallows. And make traveling through path ways with very limited visibility a lot easier. Plus if this tech exist now a days it's safe to say future man kind has made it into a more usable system.

No freaking way...
That is so cool! I love the way the sonar on the Seamoth there is working.
But, maybe if and when they add sonar to the Cyclops, it should act more like real sonar, with a terminal showing things nearby and stuff.
