Can't Fabricate anything...

Can use Fabricator in Life Pod to craft items, but can't successfully craft anything using base fabricator, workbench or SeaMoth Fabricator. The crafting animation starts, cycles thru and starts again without anything appearing in inventory. This bug is present in all game modes.

This is found in most current version of game (as of 09/15/15). Sent bug report via in-game menu as well (with screenshot)

I had that issue with the seamoth fabricator. Might be cheat related, or save game related.

I started a new game with each game mode, no cheats and still no crafting with non-LifePod fabricators

For me, I saved my game. Quit the game completely. Ran the game. Reloaded the save.
And then I could build again.
Try that...then if it doesn't fix it, the issue is not the same as mine.

It would likly be a good idea to verify your install. If that doesn't work please post a copy of <steam>/steamApps/common/Subnautica/Subnautica_Data/output_log.txt to pastebin or the like and link the result
