Many players in my server redplug at the same time.

The server runs fine until it's full, or close to full (24 slots). Then, at some point, about 40-60% will redplug. Some players report that if they wait it out, they eventually resume normal play. I haven't personally waited that long, so I can't say for sure whether that's true.

Here is the console log right before a redplug. YY is the IP address of a player on the server. The last line repeats about 125 times, then people time out:
[154333.785] Main : Error: Client resent the same frame
[154415.976] Main : YYY.YYY.YYY.YY:54154 [Server]: Ack 255 utside sequence window 11 - 139

And here is another. XX is the IP address of a player on the server (different from the last). This line repeats 6 times, then people time out:
[148241.303] Main : XX.XXX.XX.XXX:59545 [Server]: ### Received connection attempt inside an already setup connection from XX.XXX.XX.XXX:5945!
In this case, there are also more ack window errors, with varying windows (10-138, 5-133, 162-34, etc.), strewn throughout the console afterwards.

I'm not the best at interpreting the console, so if I mentioned something irrelevant, or forgot something important, please let me know. Also, what is Brain 2? Sounds spooky.

surprisingly when i set up my server, i have it throw away ack packets (on the network side of things) i don't care for the loss of packets, it makes up 0.0001% of all packets lost, i've had no one complain of redplug/yellowplug on my server, yet oozles server which is somewhat newer now 4.8/5ghz always has red plugging issues because of these issues.

I wonder if it has to do with the way they changed the packets for laggers and the "fast recconect" (oh which btw doesn't always work, it says "you're already connected, blah blah blah terminating connection" or some weird error

this patch should be numbered 999 not 276... :P Really impressed with the performance and the loading times though! Hope you guys sort it out soon!

Fixes for both major issues of build 276 were already checked in and are waiting to be approved by the QA team. We will try to get a hot fix out asap and are really sorry for the circumstances.

You can also follow the progress on the ns2cdt trello board. If everything goes well the hotfix should be out next week.
