Damage, leaks and sealed areas

I'd like to see a few improvements to the leak models. It's a lot of fun running around your sub/habitat trying to find and plug the leaks, but eventually you get to know where they're going to show up. I'd like to see some more randomness to their locations and timing, maybe even ones that you have to go outside to find. I'd also suggest a slower crush model. I like the idea of trying to squeeze a few extra meters out of the crush depth so I can harvest something, listening to the ship creak in progressively more horrifying ways instead of knowing "okay, if I touch 200 meters it's going to crack within thirty seconds, and if I wait for more than forty it's unrecoverable."
Related to this, I'd like to see the hatch doors in the Cyclops hold back water. I rather like the idea of locking off a section because I don't have time to hunt the crack.
