Build 276 segfaults on Ubuntu 15.10 (incl. stacktrace)

The update from 10/17 broke the game on Ubuntu 15.10 64bit (which should be officially released in a few days). The game segfaults before getting to the main menu. I had been playing the day before (also on Ubuntu 15.10) and apart from a keyboard issue, the game ran great. I'm running with Nvidia drivers 355.11 on a GTX 970.

Here's the stacktrace for this crash:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

On a side note, a lot of information on the wiki page (http://wiki.unknownworlds.com/ns2/Linux_Guide) seems to be outdated or not working. For some reason, I couldn't get the steam-runtime included with the game to download for i386 so I had to run:
cd ~/.local/share/Steam
./ubuntu12_32/steam-runtime/run.sh gdb SteamApps/common/Natural\ Selection\ 2/ns2_linux32

I still had the problem with the updated binaries but a reboot fixed the issue.
Must have been a pending update on the GL drivers on my side.

Yeah the crash is deep in sdl2. Not terribly much we can do there. Good that it was fixed for you :)

Why are linux users just so much more pleasant to converse with and just genuinely nicer people, sunshine and rainbows.

Linux requires a bit of maturity to use?

    That's my theory, at least.

If they weren't that kind of person they would have rage quit and left linux alone a long time ago...

Another thing is the group psychology. Saying that you use Linux is like wearing a uniform: you represent the group, standards become higher.
