Unique items and rarities

I think some unique items and rarities should be added into game, for example big colored quartz crystal or unique shaped diamond, big metal nuggets, etc. Some kind of glass case in a base should be build to show the collection. Create achievements for finding all of it. Fragment analyzer should recognize items and add new information to encyclopaedia.

I love the idea, and I agree, there should be achievements for finding them (find 1 x, find 5 x, find 10 x, find 25 x, et cetera). But, they should also have a use in-game. Your big quartz crystal could be used to create an item that can't be made with normal quartz, like a Pulsed-Energy Projectile laser.
