I was originally going to post a thread about wanting more Steam achievements for Subnautica, but then I remembered some points brought up in other threads. I started to do some thinking and came up with some ideas for how to make Subnautica a bit more interesting.
Separate Hotbar from Inventory: If we separated the hotbar from the inventory in Minecraft fashion then we could clear up at least 5 slots in our inventory.
Tank Slots on Player Paper Doll: We all know that Tanks fill up our inventory very quickly, plus it doesn't make sense from a logical perspective. I'm no diver but I know that divers usually go diving with at least 2 air tanks attached to their back with extras in their bag. A system like this would free up inventory space; however, you can only have 2 tanks on the paper doll at a time. This is an even trade off right?
Harness Upgrade: This upgrade can be applied to any of our suits and allow us to either attach 2 extra tanks or a seaglide to our back for either hands free gliding through the water or diving down for longer periods of time.
Turret Upgrade Module: This nifty little module can be added to any of our main vehicles so we can mount a weapon like the Stasis Rifle, Propulsion Cannon, or the Repulsion Cannon. When mounted they can be used the exact same way as normal except they drain the vehicle's power instead. One added boost though is that they are more powerful than normal.
Tank Refill Station: With this device built into your Cyclops or built on your own in the base you can refill the Air Tanks before you head out again. All small vehicles like the Seamoth and Exosuit would come equipped with these installed to a limited capacity.
These are just a couple of thoughts I had, if anybody has any more thoughts then please share them
