WIP; Will add more as they are suggested, or as I think them up!

Ok, to begin with, we have a large submersible with a docking system for a smaller submarine. The small sub (Seamoth) has a Radar upgrade, but the Cyclops does not? Odd!
What is further, the Cyclops does not have the capability to defend itself! Whilst it is unlikely that it would be needed, it would be nice to clear out an area before venturing out.)

Physical additions and Upgrades.
Physical additions require resources to build, and are objects only buildable on/in the Cyclops/Seamoth.
Upgrades change internal and pre-existing features ONLY.

Cyclops wishlist
Physical additions
  • Sonar Navigational cockpit (Original idea by Monkey_Mac) (Replaces the glass cockpit with a hemi-spherical holographic projector, only works if a Sonar upgrade is installed. Allows you to pilot the Cyclops using the Sonar visuals alone, whilst also adding 50m to both safe and damage depths. Also increases the sonar pulses to twice as fast, and detects life-forms as simarly-sized 3D objects, known/scanned Life-forms are anotated with an icon of their speices.)
  • Cyclops Stasis Cannon (Upgraded version of the Stasis Rifle, this cannon uses technology researched from the Stasis Rifle to allow the addition of an up-scaled Stasis Rifle for larger and longer-lasting AOE.)
  • Cyclops Localised Electrical Deterrent/C-L.E.D (Similar to the EMP available for the Seamoth, but much larger)
  • Onboard Generator/Installable generator (Nucelar-powered submarine anyone?)
  • Solar Panels (For slow recharge of onboard cells during the day; most effective when not moving)
  • Self-chargingcells, for use in the Cyclops/Seamoth/Seaglide. (Maybe by adding one of the self-charging cells from the life-pod to the Analyser, you can learn how to make more?)
  • Seamoth Upgrade Console (Have not built this yet, so it may actually be available in the CyclopsCannot build within the Cyclops, but that seems a little silly. Should require Moonpool research to build!)
  • Diving-bell

    Upgrades
    • Cyclops Sonar Mapping

    User Concepts
    1. Monkey_Mac; Cyclops environmental display: Remove the glass from the front of the Cyclops and turn the whole drivers section into a holo-globe , this would allow for you to reverse, navigate terrain more effectively.
    2. Monkey_Mac; Cyclops diving bell: Deployable module that drops from Cyclops by tether up-to 200m deeper than the Cyclops. Consumes energy while in use aggressive fauna CAN attack player while inside.
    3. Monkey_Mac; Cyclops heat exchange: Allows Cyclops to charge power in waters with a temperature greater than 20℃, includes temporary rise from magma vents. (Considering that steam-powered turbines produce more power, I think that this upgrade should a thermal turbine to produce power from vents and geysers.
Basically, you sit the Cyclops over or near to a Vent or Geyser, and the super-heated water is collected into a tank for use in an onboard steam-turbine generator!)

Seamoth wishlist
Physical Additions
  • Seamoth Mining equipment (A drill or jack-hammer style automatic pickaxe)
  • Inverted Current-Generator (Draws light items/small lifeforms towards you. This combined with the Mining Equipment, mean you will never need leave the safety of your Seamoth to mine!)
  • Deep-dive upgrade (Upgrades the Seamoth cockpit with Laminated glass, and the hull with Plasteel, to allow for safe diving to 500m)
  • Specimen Retrieval Jar (The same idea as the one used on modern-day exploration submarines, this is for capturing small lifeforms for later cooking/scanning/putting in your aquarium. If it collects ore/salvage/materials, it transfers them to any available storage)

Upgrades

That would be awesome! Instead of having just the holo-globe, combine the Radar module with the Holo-globe in to one upgrade. However, I think this is something that should be a build option for the Cyclops.

Cool idea, but the diving-bell should be sealable and physically-interactable, if heavy.
The diving bell could be damagable itself, as opposed to simply attacking the player through it.
Maybe it's built from a lifepod, and docks within the Seamoth-bay?
