Steam Failed To Authenticate

I've confirmed all ports are forwarded, I've tried changing download servers, I've confirmed nothing is interfering with 27015, and I've gone through the uninstall / reinstall process. (I doubt that'd fix it as I installed it for the first time a week ago)
Any thoughts? Is there something I'm missing for how to get Steam to authenticate? As a side note, all the servers in the server list load up appropriately. Just can't try them because the training server won't start.

Could you follow these instructions and provide us with your tech_support.zip .

Okay make sure your firewall doesn't block the following port: UDP 8766 or ns2.exe in general. Please report back if that doesn't help.
