Shows location of metals and limestones , gold shows like yellow gem, i expect high power consumption 3-4pow/sec maybe special costly power source require

Wasn't this tested at some point? Perhaps even in the game? I a sonar kind of way?

i dont know maybe some kind equipment we can wear like compass or a tool like statis rifle we shoot to mark metals in area

I believe there were metal detectors for the seamoth at some point. Not sure if they ended up in the final update though

Ultimately EVERYTHING in this game will be left for the developers to decide.
Sometimes when I read the posts on this forum I'm convinced that the folks at Unknown Worlds set up the forum so they can sit around at the end of the day, read these posts out loud to each other, and laugh.
