Do excessive PDA Screenshots affect FPS?

Hi all,
Just curious about this one. I have one save game with ~400+ pictures on the PDA and I'm wondering if having all of these affects loading times or in game FPS. The FPS in that save has gone to heck anyway (20 or so in most areas vs 50+ at the start of the game) and I'm wondering if having a ton of camera pictures doesn't help that.
Edit - Okay so just moved the whole screenshot directory and my FPS went up a solid 15 in the mushroom forest. I definitely think a ridiculous amount of PDA pictures affects FPS (maybe because they are all kept in ram?).
