Impossible to change controls

Whenever I double click something - it automatically assigns "joystick 2 button 16" even though no button is being pressed. I checked it with 2 other games - no problems, can assign any buttons correctly, including these from joystick and throttle.

I'm running Pro Flight X-55 Rhino HOTAS.

Unplug your game controller, something must be wrong with it which is causing it to read a joystick input
