I know there are a lot of threads already covering what subnautica should be now and it's shaping up nicely but several large issues loom for me after a few weeks of play.
My major issue is creature interaction, no large roaming creatures, too many safe zones and no fear once you know nothing is fast enough or has enough AI to really pursue or hunt you. At this point its just a base building game. Some of the ship needs to be on the bottom blown off from the main hull with compartments you can decompress and run around. These add areas you need to go to or explore
to visit some of the less frequented biomes.
The actual structures need to have struts, ones you can manually place for support and the terrain deformer needs some improvement.
Spear gun, long range gun that captures and kills the fish so it rots faster but catches quicker.
A reason to fear open water! Insta death for going too far out.
