Just some idea's and thoughts on progression.

Hi all , loving the game so far, so from what I have seen the ultimate goal is getting to the bottom of the ocean, finding the aliens that shot us down and kick the little scum's collective ass, which is cool, but with such amazing looking monsters in the game the chance to have some kind of boss battle should not be ignored I think.
Anyway, here is a selection of suggestions and random thoughts that I'v had while playing so far, I hope they prove to be helpful even if its just to spark some one else better idea.

Buildings
- WetDock - A fabrication room used to build larger submarines, at the moment we use the little mobile platform which is fine for a moth or other smaller starter ships but it's not really suitable for a larger ship, The Wetdock would be build on a foundation it would look like a long corridor with mecha laser builder arms on one side, this would be the side that bits get built, This wet dock just like the mobile version would allow you to select things to build, ie all your larger subs, however it would do each sub in stages, so to build a cyclops you would select it, and then the fabrication room would give an out put to say building Engine need x,y,z parts, you throw them into the rooms inventory, feed the room power and it would fab the Engine, you would see the engine being fabbed in the water as a static locked to the structure part, repeating the same steps for the other parts, the player would get to see their sub being built up in stages giving them that all important sense of progression as they watch it all come to gether.
- Salvage Yard - Like the WetDock but anything you put within it's range gets broken down and salvaged for its parts, if you build a sub you no longer need just sail it into the salvage yard and dock it, then turn on the structure to have it rip up your sub.
- Mining Well - A Laser Mining drill that bores down through the ocean floor and collects resources, I think it would be super cool if the chucks favored a miner or ore over others, you could have a prospecting tool that lets you drill a sample to find out what the ocean floor is rich in, say your looking for gold but all your finding is quartz or iron, then bingo you find a gold chunk/area/place so you setup a remote mining operation, you build the mining room, the power to run it and a storage room to hold the stuff it gathers.
- Fish Farm - A Structure that allows you to capture hold and breed fish for food.

- SeaDigger - A little bit larger than the SeaMoth it comes with two front drills and an internal storage system and is used to pore out and mine resources.
- Draconian - Correct me if the name is wrong, but given its estimated size I think it should server as the perfect combat ship with torpedo's or some other type of offensive weapon designed to combat the giant sea monsters, and eventually the aliens. ?
- SeaHauler - Some where between the Seamoth and the Cyclops it would be a ship with low speed that's designed to haul lots and lots of goods, internally there would be no room for building additional storage like you can on the cyclops so it would not be suitable for a mobile base, but it would make moving everything from one location to another a lot easier.
- Cyclops - do we know what this is for yet ? I suspect its a science ship, I notted those lockers down bellow if there is nothing planned for those just yet I think the cyclops would make a brilliant drone ship and those lockers could hold the drones, you could have combat drones that just agro and protect the mothership, and then you could have salvage drones that fly around the cyclops tractoring in and gathering up things you travel over like scrap or minerals, the salvage drones should agro thinks like stalkers hence the need for the defensive drones.

All good ideas, but as for breeding, they already had something like that called the Water Park. If it's still in the game though, I can't seem to find it. The point is, something like that has been talked about and developed (sort of) already.
