Alright. First post, barely played the game, loosely organized ideas but I'm told I'm very creative and imaginative so hear me out... Uhh... Here we go I guess.
Robot Companion
I currently haven't thought of a name, but I'm thinking it's name would be either B.A.G. or C.H.E.S.T. because its main use is storage. It's simply a small robot (Open to appearance suggestions, but I first thought of something similar to Wheatley from the Portal series.) The robot follows the player closely, and can be activated to be opened and used as a second inventory, with two more slots than the player's inventory. It can also be told to hold still, so that it will stop following the player and stay in the same position. It has slightly less health than the player, and monsters do target it. I haven't thought of a crafting recipe yet, but i imagine it's fairly expensive.
Hirin (monster)
I just thought of the first name that came to my mind... The Hirin looks like a large reddish airsack with a long proboscis for a mouth. It is slightly larger than the player and is only hostile when attacked. If it is struck then it sprays a liquid (that acts as a drug) out of its proboscis. The liquid can be obtained, but if the player touches it (which is likely since it is sprayed in the players direction) then the player will hallucinate for about thirty seconds. Collecting the liquid will allow you to craft a type of food that restores nearly all of your stats, but causes about a five second hallucination. The hallucinations are smaller, darkly colored versions of the leviathan monster that don't actively attack the player, but deal small amounts of damage when touched. The player also gradually loses health during the hallucination until it ends.
