There is no doubt that Co-op is something that the devs would be working on or at least thinking about. But when i thought about this i realised(Aussie spelling XD) that there are only 2 seats in the escape pod an Co-op/Multiplayer would consist of 2-6 players. This is why i was thinking that every time a new player joins they should join the game by being ejected from the wreckage of the Aurora in a new escape pod with all the same start-up gear the player gets when a new world in created. I also thought that the difficulty (i.e. number of spawned mobs; Hostile, Peaceful, etc.) of the game should increase or decrease depending on the number of players that have joined.
At this point i would add a pole but i am new to the website an i am unaware how to do so. Please leave any feedback on the topic.

Dont be selfish
Like, say, a penal colony ship that drops a bunch of convicts on a water planet to see if it's viable for terraforming or not, and leave them to figure it out while other ships, like the Aurora, go to 'confirmed' planets instead.
