I found the wreckage in the bloody plateus right inside the radiation zone.

You're safe from them, don't worry. You'd have to carry on towards the Aurora for a while before you'd find reapers. There are biters, sand sharks and tiger plants around the wreckage though.

Nope it's nearby the kelp forest, in the grassy pleatues nearby the Aurora.
