How does one add the maxfps flag to the Steam Launch Options dialog box?

I can get the fps flag working no problem but haven't been able to figure out maxfps.

    It's an ingame console command

maxfps <fps> "Limits frames per second, minimum is 30FPS. For debug purposes only, does not provide smooth gameplay."

It might eventually be put in vanilla ns2. https://trello.com/c/gJKtZjL1/450-make-maxfps-command-remember-setting-between-launches

But that has been there a long time. I too would enjoy this setting.

This is an important setting for G-sync displayed. Limiting the FPS to lower than a monitors max referesh rate (144) prevents transition to V-sync, which creates input lag. So I like to keep it set to 120/130, but don't always remember.

After seeing this thread, and by recommendation, I have been experimenting with Adaptive Vsync. The input lag is reduced significantly from regular vsync to the point I can't really notice it. Maybe if you are a super skilled player you might notice it, but I am only a decent pub player.

What are your driver settings as I have experimented with adaptive vsync on 60hz monitor and the input lag was still apparent, not as bad as traditional vsync but it was still there.

I think I might not be experiencing it as bad because I am playing at 120 fps. Beyond that I think I have most everything on default values.
