Would an Arctic Biome be possible?

I was perusing the internet one day when I came across a reddit article that touched on the subject of The Bloop. I had no idea what The Bloop was at the time, so I was intrigued and googled it. For those who don't know The Bloop was an incredibly loud sound recorded underwater in the upper Arctic. supposedly it was just Glaciers running into each other or something, but apparently according speculators the sound was closer to the sound of a sea creature, only it would have had to be many times bigger than anything we had ever seen. So being a huge fan of the Subnautica concept I started wondering how could would an Arctic Biome be. It would more dangerous than usual as you would need to look for breaks in the ice to surface and you would need a special dive suit so you wouldn't freeze to death. And if we were lucky they could throw a new creature in that was specific to the Arctic and would be abnormally large.
Anyway, thats just me spitballing. Let me know what you guys think of that. What would you add or remove and would you enjoy an Arctic Biome?

Like, to the west of the Mountain Island.
Ocean currents can do a lot to mitigate that. The area where I live would be 10-20 degrees colder if it weren't for ocean currents warming us up. The same could happen in Subnautica, but then in reverse i.e. weaker currents up north of the map, resulting in a colder climate
