Can't get crossfire running.

Simple as the title states. I can't see any gpu load going to my second gpu(aidaextreme + old g15 keyboard). I have not found anything about crossfire not working so I'm curious if I'm the only one. I have tried running the game in every crossfire mode that AMD has but none of them have allowed any of the load to transfer to the other GPU and I believe this is causing my microstuttering and hard draw distance texture pops.
If anyone else is having this issue please chime in so I don't feel crazy here. I'm having the same issue with FO4 but I lose performance oddly...
Currently I'm running:
FX-8150 @ 4.1g 1.375v
Gigabyte 990fxa-UD3
Corsair H-80i
2x MSI 270X DD 2gb
16GB Corsair Vengence 1600
Corsair 800 CS PSU
240gb Intel 530 ssd
1TB Seagate HDD(game is loaded on this drive)
Quick update.

Quote from Unity Dev Aurore:
which means Dual GPUs will only be seen as a single GPU.
We'll have to wait on Unity & AMD/Nvidia to support this feature I'm afraid.
Thank you, sir.
Sorry to bump this older thread, but I believe the developers need to implement the feature of exclusive fullscreen mode, instead of waiting on AMD and nVidia to support Crossfire/SLI with windowed fullscreen. Exclusive fullscreen not only already has the dual-GPU support, but even on one GPU can greatly increase one's framerate. So even if nVidia and AMD end up supporting windowed fullscreen, the FPS won't be as high as it would be on exclusive fullscreen.
That said, the ability to specify video mode should be available in Unity 5.4.0, which is currently in beta. Subnautica is currently running Unity 5.3.x. It is unclear when Subnautica will upgrade to Unity 5.4, as SN is nearing a point where refactoring for another big engine update could push back their deadlines.
