how to update a workshop item / change preview pic ?

Is there a way to update a workshop items in launchpad ?
And also how do you change the preview picture ?

Just include a preview.jpg in the root directory to override the picture. To update a mod, assuming you still have it in a folder on your system, just 'Open' with launchpad, make any changes and use builder if necessary, then Publish again. @GhoulofGSG9 is a workshop/launchpad pro, he'll tell you if I'm wrong in any of this

I dont have the folder though but I found a way to fix by copying the mod ID into the mod.settings file with notepad.

Oh while youre here, do you know a way to fix the being subscribed to deleted mods bug in the mods window of the main menu ?
There is no name just the mod ID with status "unavailable" but it's not in my steam subscription at all I can't seem to remove it lol !

You should leave all mods in the workshop, just make them empty when no longer needed, to get around problems like this.
