I don't think reefback eggs are in the game, I combed through all the biomes and the wiki confirms it. I did mistake a spadefish egg for one, though...
I might have some additional information on this topic:
I have found two new eggs in the Grand Rief. One being the spadefish egg (I recall also seeing it in other biomes, not sure tho)
I also found a Crabsquid Egg.
