Providing energy with Cyclop

Hi everybody,
Since the last patch, it's actually not possible to put solar panel on the cyclop.
But, before i using my cyclop and solar pannel on the cylop to provide engergy in the very deep foundations.

That was really funny, and i built a lot of little bases without energy, just "dock" a clyclop like in the picture to provide energy and using my base.
Do you think it's possible to keep this "feature" in the future ?
And why not, reaload energy of the cyclop with the base or energy by nuclear engine.
