Purple Brain Coral and Bases

The more i think about it the more it makes sense to me. In the next big update we will see our seabases devoid of oxygen and in order to be able to breath in them we will need to provide it with O2. The devs spoke of pipes pumping air from the surface down to it and also flora life built in the bases producing oxygen which in my opinion is awesome. I sincerely hope that Brain Corals will also have its role in providing our Bases with O2

The thing is designed to do just that: produce oxygen. I imagine some kind of base addition we could build that gathers the oxygen produced by brain coral under it and pump it inside the base. Now that we can get brain coral seeds using the knife it would be a simple matter to build an exterior farming tray right under the said device and jam a few Brain Coral in the planter. Dunno if the Devs thought of that, but if not it'd be cool to see it implemented in that update :)

i like this idea, but then Devs must to construct some sort of Oxigen farm. Here good to fit idea about Big Dome module
I saw post about thaht here yesterday

Brain corals in growbeds are so effective in air production that you could support any base with a single growbed and without any power.

More important, they can be grown in any depth no sub can even reach, so a network of brain coral beds in the deep can help you much.

A request to the devs would be to allow brain corals not only to recharge personal air, but also recharge seamoth air and of course base air.

You mean like, position the seamoth right above a brain coral and the air bubbles that hits the seamoth recharge its O2 ? thats a cool idea yeah i hadnt thought of that :) altho maybe that could perhaps be something possible thru a Seamoth upgrade module? otherwise how would the air bubbles replenish the air inside the seamoth since its closed airmetically when youre in it :p

Just how exactly would the seamoth replenish its air when resurfacing above water level (once the O2 limitation gets into the game)? Probably super-automatic and not by manually pressing a button to start the O2 refilling mechanism. So why not assume the O2 get automatically refilled while the seamoth is bathed in air? Is it too much science fiction?

But considering how mighty the brain corals are, this could get overpowered. On the other side, what would happen if my O2 of the seamoth is gone and I simply exit it above a brain coral, fill up my personal O2 storage and reenter the seamoth? Are the seamoth and suit O2 linked or seperate?

I think there will be improvments for the o2 capacity or maybe a system for filtering oxygen out of water
