weird text chat bug, explain please.

One time, my in-game text chat didn't appear on the screen after sending. Very strange, I thought, and sent it again. It worked the second time.
The real surprise came after approx. 60 seconds when my (first, missing) message finally was shown.

So it appeared as if the message was stuck in a buffer for as long as one minute, while other messages were passing through....
I guess I still have a lot to learn about online chat systems.

    Do you get any other errors? Did the game feel laggy at all? I would speculate this was a bad connection to the server.

    Yea this can happen with bad connections... though I have yet to see it get out of order like you describe.
