Since 1.02...

I just need to say... WTF?!?

the fade acid rockets... are... umm...
since the 1.02 update came out, theres been maybe 1 game i've played where the aliens have lost. once they get fades, its pretty much over.

even with an adept commander, loyal troops, and a thoroughly fortified hive...

its just too unbalanced, IMHO

    hmm dunno about that i play as both teams alot and i see an equal amount of wins by both teams.Ive won two myself when ive been commanding and i dont think im great at that.

    but for what its worth , aliens win around 60-70% of the time , this is not my view its fact , of my time playing NS

    From the games I played, both sides are fairly balanced... the marines have to work harder than the aliens, which sets them back when you have incompetant players. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Your absolutely right. But I really doubt that it was how the developers ment, atm it's quite not needed for the third hive to win. Once you have movments and defense chambers you've won. I personally find fades much more attractive than the onos, since the fades capability at range speed and teleport ability.     Look, Flayra is working on getting a decent stats program together to give him EXACT numbers on team win losses, type of kills, etc. Rather then just changing something because some people complain about it, he's going to rely on hard numbers to help balance the game, which, to me, seems like a pretty smart way of handling it.

    For every person who says, the game is unbalanced, there is someone who says that it's perfect. Until Flayra gets a good range of numbers from the stats he's not going to be touching balance for a little while.

    I see more human wins since 1.02, MUCH more
    They seem to do more damage than in 1.01 or we do less

    I pretty much agree with this statement, although I do have to say that I rarely ever see marines win any more, which is probably due to the fact that they don't work fast enough together as a team then aliens do.

    its in general discussion for a reason. cuz i frankly dont expect any direct result from the post, other than the (dis)agreement of others.
