We were talking about pressure in the base, where player lives for long periods of time. Not short-term diving. I could not dig in any information about how long term exposure to high pressure affect human health, but it is logical to assume that it does.
While water is not compressible the human body is not. We have cavities in our body that are not filled with liquids and are not connected to breathing system. I don't know what pressure (at what depth) is deadly.
