My strange SubNautica main menu issue.

I've seen a bunch of posts about bad/unplayable frame rates and I've gone through the READ ME FIRST post on how to fix that stuff hoping it would fix my issue. Once I'm in a game it runs fine, however to get there I have to get through the main menu which as of a couple months ago has been terrible. 1 FPS at the main menu for some reason (steam overlay), clicking on a menu buttom takes long periods of time if it ever even registers the click. I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760, steam version of the game.

Any ideas? Can I maybe bypass main menu and go right into a saved game? :wink:
