Power - Foundations, Snap-locking and weird temperatures.

I've been thinking about this and what I'd really like would be for foundations to not count as a part of a base, with regards to power. It gives a nice flat area to easily set up solar panels and other items while keeping them nice an neat and would possibly help when placing other power production. Additionally, it would likely make a snap-lock system for solar panels and other power production items easier to implement. Now, if only I could figure out why temperatures that wouldn't boil water melt my thermal generators half the damn time.
