This first variation is a sand Ray.
The basic idea of the first animal is that it hides in the sand and whenever the player or peepers come near it, it will shake the sand off it and try to eat them. If hit by the player it or if it hits the player it will realize you are not a easy target and float away and bury itself in the sand again. They would commonly be found anywhere that has sand and perhaps even a version of which could hide in red grass. These Rays would be attracted to titanium and stay near it or perhaps even hoarding it and making small sand dens (circular in shape and a slight indent in the ground). They would stay on top of the dens or move slowly to titanium and move back. This version of the cloaked Rays would be considerably larger than the second variation but travel alone, do more damage, and be asexually producing new Rays which immediately leave their parents nests to make their own path in the ocean world. If defending its nest from the player or another Ray it will not stop attacking until the player has moved away. This variation could be found in the dunes and grassy plateaus.
The second variation would be more threatening to the player and more active. The top of the Ray would be completely invisible. Meaning the only way to see the Ray would be to view it from the bottom. The Ray would Be found in deep open areas floating in packs of 2-3. Perhaps there could be a event where several packs converge to mate and actively grow the population of these Rays. If the event would happen the newly hatched rays will be weaker than adult Rays but the adults will be more aggressive to the player if he or she is near the hatchlings. When fully grown they will go to the spot where the packs mated and form new packs with other hatchlings, leaving the pack they grew up with. This variation could be found in the sparce reef, koosh zone and mountains.
Please leave your ideas on improving these animals and even vote on which one is your favorite. I still need a idea for what the name of the individual variations are. Let's Dive deeper!
