Crafted Gravity Anchor

Prompted by this post over in gameplay bugs. Specifically, the Day 3 entry.

Now, hear me out here. What I'm thinking is something that you craft at the center of a foundation. Once built, it synchs up with the lifepod's gravity anchor and draws the lifepod over to it. Once it's done that, attaches a power transfer line (maybe the max depth of the anchor should be something like 20m?) and links the lifepod to your base. Thoughts?

Okay, something to remember. You can't edit an OP, apparently. I revised my idea as I posted this, so ignore the whole "center of a foundation" thing.

    Sounds good nice idea.

I have been thinking on that last few new starts that if only I could make a drop lead to feed power to my base. 2 copper wire + 2 rubber mats = power cord life pod to base.
Having the limits of the life pods power cells of 75 units.

Thanks. I mean, it's got 1½ times the capacity of a standard solar panel but it's a one time thing. Unless they give us the ability to repair and collect some of the other pods, but I get the impression that those power cells are beyond the limited (but still amazing) abilities of a standard fabricator.
