What in the name of Alterra is this?!
I didn't even know this was a thing and now I find out it's huge, potentially going to be implemented, and is going to kill anything (EVEN THE REAPER!!) that comes near. Can we please not add in 40 things trying to kill us. Let's see
1. Stalker
2. Bleeder
3. Mesmer
4. Biter
5. Sand Shark
6. Bone Shark
7. Sea Dragon Leviathan
8. Reaper Leviathan
9. Shocker
10. Crabsnake
11. Warper (Maybe? Some updates on this would be nice like if peaceful or not)
12. Lava Lizard (Not fully in)
13. Spine Eel (Not implemented yet)
14. Sandworm (This abomination)
This is the current roster of things trying to murder us, on this list only one actually gives us something worth dealing with it. That however is a topic for my next discussion. Let's try and decide where this demon spawn would be and why we'd have to deal with it. My bet is the Dunes would work beautifully with it and fighting Reapers. As for why we'd go there, I have no idea but nothing is worth going out there to certain death between sandworms and reapers.

Comments
THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pity. It looks awesome. And personally, I think the more big scary things trying to kill us, the better. It is an alien world in which we are the intruders, after all...
So I didn't disappoint you then... must've misunderstood your comment.
I rather think that there are at the moment too many aggressive creatures compared to the number of passive ones. Seriously, an ecosystem like this would never survive long in history. I'm not sayin' that the devs should remove the currant aggressive creatures, I just want more passive and defensive ones so that the ecosystem looks more realistic.
Amen to that!!! had to go change my shorts after coming face to face with the reaper the first time... if I came face to face to that thing.... might have to repaint the whole room!!!
Source?
No actual source as such. The first time I saw the sandworm was on YouTube about 10 months ago. I was naturally curious about it, so I asked a lot of people on the UWE forums and on the Wikia page about it. Many people told me that it wasn't going to be added to the game. Since they were at least 15 to tell me this, I believed them. But otherwise, no source. I guess you could ask the devs themselves if you want.
If the devs weren't doing any development after the game launched, then it will likely never be made available. However, it requires a dev response to confirm if something that they worked on won't be in the game since the devs can always change their minds and decide to put it in the game.
At least that's what I would like this creature to be. It's indeed bigger than the cyclops.
Dev confirmation would be best for this. After all, the Warper, crab squid, sea dragon leviathan, leviathan, lava lizard, etc. are also creatures that haven't seen visible development on Trello in months.
