Help a noob, i'm stuck :(

I'm using build 30682, which is the one on Oculus Home. No sign of the new update that went out on Steam coming to Oculus Home yet, hopefully that's soon.
Anyway...
Been playing for a good few hours now and absolutely blown away by the depth of this game - but i've hit a brick wall. I just can't find any fragments, so I can't get even a tiny base operational and spend half my time swimming miles to my escape pod or coaxing it back to the base (when it will play ball and not get stuck that is).
I've found numerous wrecks, and i've swum right up to the aurora exploring the sea bed (three or four wrecks on that trip) and i've been out via the creeper vines and the plateaus with the red grass on them, a couple of wrecks there of varying sizes that i've found.
Out of all that - so far, i've found plenty of materials to turn in to titanium, quite a few storage boxes with things like first aid kits in and in one wreck I found a bench, a chair and a table which I was able to scan and get the blueprints for.
But that's it.
Am I just not searching far and wide enough? Or is there a problem in this build?
Without fragments it really seems to have hit a wall, because there's only *so* many hours in the day I can spend swimming slowly around - and i'm kinda happy to do that, the exploration aspect has been great fun so far - but I just have this niggling feeling that by now I should have found *something* and perhaps the fact I haven't means I might be on a loser here.
I appreciate it's all Early Access, i'm a game dev myself, and I just wanted someone to say "yeah that works" (and preferably "here's a screenshot of what you are looking for!") or "no there's a known issue in that build"
Thanks and keep up the great work team - this is just such an awesome game
Matt.

Matt.
Is there any chance you could use the version on Steam rather than Oculus Home?
Thanks for the reply - it confirms what I was suspecting was the case
Cheers
Matt.
Edit: The dev's response in this thread doesn't sound too promising: forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/141347/pertner-key-for-oculus-home Sorry.
I guess i'm going to have to suffer withdrawal until the Oculus Home version gets an update
Thanks for the replies folks!
Matt.
Good luck!
