Can't find any seamoth fragment with my new save...

Hi,
Since the update of the 05/04, I've restart a new save to run the game without bugs.

So there is no problem with this new party, but I can't find any fragment of the seamoth.. I found vehicle bay, solar panel, bioreactor... but no seamoth...
There is some wrecks... but in the inside there is no fragment... A scelled door... so are they behind it ? Or it's just a bug ?

Who has restart a new save ?

Ps: I'm playing in stable build.

Remember the seamoth fragments are now real fragments, not those placeholder container boxes. You have to look a bit for shapes that are new. They are around the wrecks and sometimes at some distance even.

From a distance they look like oddly shaped metal salvage. That's what caught my eye and got me my first one.

It can take a long time to find 5 fragments to complete the blueprint though. In my last playthrough for the first ever I had a moonpool before I had a seamoth.

You'll be looking for these types of things for the Seamoth:

So far I've been finding Seamoth fragments in the Grassy Plateaus biome, nowhere else, both in wrecks and on the sea floor not too far away from a wreck. This is on the recent experimental build, not sure if the same applies to the stable build.

On stable I found mine all over the place. Took ages. I've never used a seaglide so much before.

I haven't been able to get into wrecks - sealed door's get stuck at 100% for me and don't open - so I don't know about them.

Sorry about that. We know about it and will fix that ASAP.

Thanks Obraxis. I saw that in the bug forum. I just wanted to make it clear my advice was ignorant of anything inside wrecks.

On that note, I hit the seamoth jackpot this morning. It was on a steep grassy plateau slope with lots of sandsharks and there at least 4 seamoth fragments relatively close to each other. Looked like there were a couple more though they might have been cyclops frags. There's a very large wreck (where I got another seamoth fragment) not too far away, then a huge lone pillar almost reaching the surface (with 1 egg on it).

Pretty sure it was towards the north end of the southwest grassy plateau since I'd just come from the grand reef on my way to the mushroom forest. But it could be the one north of that.

Found 1 Seamoth fragment last night in a new survival game since the last update. Played for around 1.5hrs for which I didn't even have a Seaglide till about 40min in. By around an hour I already had all the plasteel and enamled glass I would need for the Cyclops, a radiation dive suit, rebreather and most tools yet still only 1 Seamoth frag...the pacing of the game has definitely changed, though part of that is from experience now as well where I know in advance what I need and generally where to get it.

    Okay, thanks all ! :)
And I heard something about the cyclops fragment. They moved somewhere in wrecks or in others biomes ?
    I don't remember... I can't find them too.

It's not a single cyclops fragment any more. You need to scan 3 bridge, hull and engine fragments respectively. They're also all over the place but I had the most luck with bridge ones in the dunes and floating islands.

Like the seamoth they're no longer little white boxes. They have various models but same deal. Looks like metal salvage but bigger. One hull model looks like a metal ribcage. The engine ones look like engines.
