We've been dealing with a rather nasty performance issue related to our LOD work which pushed things back for us, but we hope we have got it sorted out for now. However it looks like it's a Unity bug so what we've done is just a workaround, we may get a better fix later on down the line.
Thanks, your workaround is working great! Much improved performance compared to yesterday. There is still some pop-in of terrain and/or details with a tiny pause but I can live with that when the player's movement is primarily smooth.
(the Seamoth control is still nausea-inducing though but I'm confident you'll solve that one too)
Where? I can only find crash update message in main menu (latest build 32405). And scanner room still without working upgrades. Why is it called stable update? At least the machine update message should be in the main menu.

Check your steam account - I tried at lunch time and it said "update queued for 2:00PM" in steam. I'll try again after work, but I hope to have the patch then.
Maybe there is a Steam error, but unfortunately no one knows the exact build number of the stable machine update. Or maybe a dev knows and could tell us?
Right now I'm running 32405 on experimental and the machine update message isn't there. In 32372 stable there was also no machine update message. Both versions also have no scanner room with working range upgrades.

I still have the Update News on Steam.
I have upgraded Stable Version to 32372 without any Problems, and started a new Game before an hour.
So all works fine for me.
Don´t know if the Scanner Room Updates working, have no one yet, but i will try it soon.

Don`t know if it`s this way today too, but try Robocraft. Was "very funny" having added new stuff with the old bugs.
