Unfixable Escape Pod

Last night I started a new game and the escape pod could not be repaired. Weld percentage was 0% and would not increase. Save & quit then come back in didn't help. Wound up just starting another new game, which worked fine.

    I have experienced a similar bug. Not sure of the causes or of any fixes.

    Had this happen again after I fixed the pod. I came back aboard and the panel was on the floor, and weld status was 0%. The lights were still on as though the pod was fixed, however, and the status screen still said OK.

    There were also several dead fish outside the lifepod... I'm wondering if this bug is caused by gasopods near the lifepod stinkbombing everything?

    It would be helpful to the mods if you told them what version you were using: experimental or stable? Which version number? Which OS?

    Playing on stable. Windows 7 64 bit. I filed bug reports with F8 for these as well. Was assuming such info would be sent along with said reports.
