Creature Concept: Salvager Crab

First and foremost, I apologize for my terrible handwriting.

This large crustacean is called the salvager crab. It has a long tail that ends in a grasper. This creature picks up metal salvage and fragments and carries them on its back for protection. Once added to its pile, these objects can be removed- but will anger the salvager crab and cause it to become hostile until it is presented with a replacement part.

A unique aspect of the salvager crab is its ability to pick up storage upgrades normally used for vehicles and incorporate them into its shell. Although it can only add two or three storage upgrades at a time, this effectively makes it into a walking storage locker. However, when storing items with the salvager crab you risk it running off while you're not looking.
