Creature Concept: Wandering Weed

I thought of designing a creature that would fit in a biome with heavy vegetation or with mangrove-like characteristics.

This creature is called the wandering weed. Contrary to its name, it is a crustacean-like organism rather than a type of plant. The wandering weed is an expert at camouflage. It attaches plants to its back and allows them to grow there to trick other creatures into thinking it is a plant. When the plants get to large or become unhealthy, it will prune them.
