The Deep Dark Sea

Obviously the deepest part of the sea would be the part where sunlight couldn't reach which means you can't see stuff unless they are near you and you have a light source.
I haven't played Subnautica yet but I watched some gameplays and I saw that light is one of their problems.
Is this really part of the game? If not, then more lights would be REALLY helpful.
(Imagine if you could put like a hundred lights on your Seamoth or Cyclops but predators could easily see you of course.)

Dark places yes definitely, but i never really had a problem to see.
And on the topic of light attracting predators, I've noticed that bone sharks attack the seamoth at night more often if you have your headlights turned on.
But as a previous poster said, there's alot of dark scary places in Subnautica and the only reason I pay these locations a visit its because there are no super large evil creatures down there yet
Dunes Biome at night.
Sweet dreams.
