The Deep Dark Sea

Obviously the deepest part of the sea would be the part where sunlight couldn't reach which means you can't see stuff unless they are near you and you have a light source.

I haven't played Subnautica yet but I watched some gameplays and I saw that light is one of their problems.

Is this really part of the game? If not, then more lights would be REALLY helpful.

(Imagine if you could put like a hundred lights on your Seamoth or Cyclops but predators could easily see you of course.)

I think there are a lot of dark and scary places in subnautica, but there are a lot of bio luminous creatures or plants which light up the are a little. Also you have your lights on the cyclops and seamoth and the flashlight in your hand.
Dark places yes definitely, but i never really had a problem to see.

Turning up the brightness on your monitor may help.

And on the topic of light attracting predators, I've noticed that bone sharks attack the seamoth at night more often if you have your headlights turned on.

I wouldnt say there is a light problem in the game, you pretty much answered your own question, in the deep dark sea its obviously dark "except" if you have lightning, or some kind of bio luminous creature/plant light it up for you, but I've been to the bottom and the light works just fine.

But as a previous poster said, there's alot of dark scary places in Subnautica and the only reason I pay these locations a visit its because there are no super large evil creatures down there yet
