[Bug] Large terrain chunks missing [31322]

Subnautica version - 31322 Apr-2016
I opened a game I started before the most recent update was out and upon swimming around the safe shallows I found several large chunks of terrain were missing. The game did not say that the game was outdated as it usually does so I figured there wasn't a terrain update but I don't think this was caused by that? Either way it's just chunks missing, with all resources from the chunks still floating where they were before as if the ground is still there but I can swim into the holes no problem. One of the missing chuncks was over a mushroom cave and I could swim down to those. It seemed the bottom of the mushroom cave was fine but theceiling was missing, with floating stalactite groupings
Also these fish???
