    I really dont have a favorite band/group ....

I listen to classical music (when I actually do listen to anything).

Stuff like Beethoven, Bach, Mozart - stuff like that.

I like the piano and strings.

wow, thats pretty cool.  though i must say, that's a funny image--imagining you fragging and shooting up aliens in a gruesome battle... while listening to one of Mozart's sonatas

dude, seriously, if you havn't tried it - do it!

I remember this one time I was playing DMC (Death Match Classic (Valves little re-make on Quake DM)) while listening to Mozarts Requiem in D minor - and omg ...

Like every blast, kill and gib was perfectly synced with the music.  I loved it.  I was "in the zone" - you know, when things ALWAYS to seem to go your way and you don't even need to think about it.

Its also very relaxing.  I find I play better with classical music because I'm not getting all hyped up on the Game.

Tool is by far my fav. band. I like APC as well, though it is a different style, it's still killer rock w/ meaning. who can resist?
Pink Floyd - best of the era, IMO.
Rage Against The Machine - who wants to start a pool? How many singers will they drop before they finally release their next album <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->?
    SoaD
SUBLIME - Am I the only Sublime fan around here?
Metallica - Good stuff, though their recent material is truely sub-par.
    Nirvana
    A little Bush

Ah, also good that people here realize the distinction between Bizkit's first album, and what they've become. I truely like 3 dollar bill. Also, I liked Smash and Ixnay from Offspring. Americana was alright, but it was the turning point. Some good tracks, the problem was that one of the worst songs on the CD got the most play. Probably what led them down the path of reproducing music like that.
