Are crabsnake eggs still found in-game?

Title pretty much says everything :-D
I found one of their eggs once (inside of a snake mushroom), but that was in an earlier version of Subnautica. So I thought a few days ago to venture down to the jelly shroom caves to pick up one of those eggs. Haven't found one yet
Did they remove the egg from the "spawn-list"?
I know I could just spawn one in, but that's no fun at all and it just seems wrong to me.
Have you guys found one in your recent playthroughs?

Now I can continue my search without a doubt
keep looking you'll fall on one eventually
Haven't found any mesmer eggs either
Because I like dangerous animals and most importantly of all...for science.
I think that you actually need to spawn them in, like the shuttlebug eggs
I can't seem to find mesmer eggs either.
Why not!? If you're gonna have dangerous creatures in a Alien Containment Large Aquarium, you might as well get the whole set for variety's sake.
Reef back eggs can only be spawned in currently same with Shuttlebug eggs [Item Jumperegg]
I KNEW IT!!! I WASN'T BLIND AND COULDN'T FIND THEM!!! Now I don't have to feel guilty spawning them in!
