Foggy Water Biome

So while exploring around whats currently implemented in the Lost River biome, I noticed that the water there has a kind of sediment in it? Very noticeable but not very obstructive in terms of exploring and seeing things. But it got me thinking.
What if there was a biome, on the smaller side (preferably) that had tons of water sediment. So much that it's almost like there's a fog in the water. The water colour being like a light or dark brown/orange, but things can only be seen when you're close to them because of the buildup in the water- and special strong light is one of the only ways you can see through it to a much better extent. Possibly located near the mountains or dunes.
The fauna being similar to turtles and giant tunneling worms, horseshoe crabs and krill, spidercrabs. Almost insect like creatures. Maybe even a mammal type of creature (like whales) that go up for air every once in a while. Lots of limestone and orange algae rock, short and tan coloured thin vines.
I imagine it would be slightly shallow but potentially go deeper with the larger fauna.
