No VR option?

I'm not exactly sure when this changed, but earlier versions of Subnautica had an option to simply launch the game in double-vision VR mode, which was pretty swell. Was this functionality simply taken out - and if so, why? I notice it has a different VR option now which immediately turns me down because "my current headset" is "not supported". All I really need/want is the game to provide two images with retinal disparity, like it used to. I can take care of the headset aspect myself. Are we straitjacketed into only being able to activate it using certain approved headsets now, or is there still a way to just turn on generic VR mode?

    Hi there.

We do support VR in the form of Oculus Rift CV1 and DK2. We no longer support DK1 or double-vision because Oculus themselves have stopped supporting it in their SDK.

We're hoping to add HTC Vive support in the future.

Well darn. There went one of my main reasons for getting a slightly nicer headset to use with Trinus VR. That's life, I suppose. I appreciate the response!

@Obraxis I'm not going to use VR, i'm just curious. How are you going to do the controls for the HTC vive? 'Cause you hold two joysticks, not a keyboard.
